Expand10/10 recommend Track Cycling. We have a velodrome at Cal State Dominguez (also known to football fans as the Stub Hub Center). I was lucky enough to attend a day when the World Cup came here 2 years ago. It was awesome. Obviously being in LA area it’s perks (especially now the Olympics are coming). I haven’t seen Ice Hockey or Figure Skating either. I’ve seen Cycling - Road and Track, Athletics - Diamond League, Modern Pentathlon, Special Olympics World Games - Roller Sports, Kayak, Sailing, Handball, Weightlifting - 2017 World Championships, Fencing - World Cup, and Football - Both US teams (friendlies)
Wow that is a lot. I have been to a lot of Detroit team sports though. I have seen the Tigers probably like 20 times. I have seen the Pistons 3-4 times. Red wings & Lions once each. I also went to PSG vs Roma friendly in Detroit.

No I have not. There has been many events, like the U.S. figure skating championships this past year as well as U.S. women’s ice hockey vs Canada, in Detroit, but I just haven’t had the time to go. We actually have a velodrome in Detroit and I hope to go some day.

Team USA women’s volleyball wins & have clinched a spot in Tokyo!!!! 
The U.S. women’s volleyball team has won the first set against Argentina. A win and the U.S. is in the 2020 olympic volleyball tournament!!
The U.S. women easily beat Kazakhstan 3-0 in the Olympic qualifying tournament. They will play Bulgaria at 6 ET tomorrow.
In the women’s 10m air pistol final, the lone American finished in 8th place.
In the women’s triathlon American Sophie Chase finished 21 seconds off the podium in 4th
The U.S. women’s rugby improves to 2-0 after they destroy Argentina this morning. They will play Colombia at 3:25 later today.
The U.S. men’s beach volleyball team has been eliminated from medal contention after a loss to Canada today 2-0. 
In the women’s individual poomsae, American Karyn Real finishes 3rd & picks up a bronze medal. In the men’s marathon Augustus Maiyo finishes right outside the podium in 4th.

Bethany Sachtleben wins silver in the women’s marathon. Samantha Roecker finished right outside the top 3. Good start to the games for team USA.

In the first medal event of Lima 2019, team USA wins gold through Alex Lee in the Taekwondo men’s individual poomsae!!!

Artistic Skating- both Americans (1 man & 1 woman) are in 6th place after the short program.
Beach Volleyball- the women’s team won, but the men’s team lost
Modern Pentathlon- women are in 15th, 17th & 19th after fencing. Men are in 7th & 16th after fencing.
Rugby- both men’s & women’s teams dominated in their wins.
Squash- both men’s singles athletes were knocked out in the quarterfinals. The men’s doubles & women’s doubles teams won today and advanced to the semifinals.
USA men rugby with an easy win 62-0 against Guyana
USA women’s rugby about to begin against Trinidad in the preliminary round.
The U.S. women’s doubles team beat Argentina 2-0 in the quarterfinals!!
The two Americans in the men’s squash quarterfinals have lost, so the U.S. will not medal in men’s singles.
Yesterday, the U.S. won in handball, softball, twice in beach volleyball, and didn’t lose a squash match. The bowlers all finished top 3. Hopefully, it stays the same today.
ExpandPlus, there’s now a good chance that ESPN will show them not only on the website (because they will already do that for all the placing games), but on TV

I don’t understand how people have trouble with the sky serve. I mean it’s still a volleyball. It’s not like you are hitting a rock. I know it’s easier said than done though.

I also prefer foursomes rather than fourballs maybe they think of scheduling issues, but a 16-team draw means 4 rounds, which isn't impossible to be accomodated in 2, max 3 days* (and there are more than 3 days between the 2 individual tournaments) *round of 16 in day 1, quarters in the morning of day 2, semis in the afternoon of day 2, finals in day 3 (and pushing the program to the limit, it's also possible to keep the event within 2 days only)
