They defeated strong Sweden in Wasington thanks a hattrick of the german Leon Draisaitl, other goals marked the slovak Tomáš Tatar the Austrian Thomas Vanek and by the slovenian superstar Anže Kopitar. Tatar added 1 assist tonight, 2 Goal assists to mention also for Niederreiter and Seidenberg. Daniel Sedin and Hornqvist scored for the "tre-Kronor". highlights

    Still can´t believe it..2 medals in 1 road cycling event..this is definitely not something you expect before a multi-sport event Jozef Metelka looks to be our new sports superstar..3rd medal in 3rd event. 2nd gold. winning a event in track and road cycling at the same games..wow I´m really pleasantly surprised and impressed maybe the Sagan-omania starts to pay-off in Slovakia

    Veronika absolutely amazing! our 6th medal. second silver. Her 3rd medal in 3rd event in Rio Paralympics. Silver medal is her worst result so far in Rio with this medal we are 13th place in current medal tally..crazy

    5th Slovak Medal. (4 - 1 - 0) Gold Boccia - Mixed Pairs BC4 SAMUEL ANDREJČÍK, MICHAELA BALCOVÁ, RÓBERT ĎURKOVIČ won the Gold Medal Match 4-2 against Brazil, 6-1 over Thailand in the Semifinals. Advanced for the play-offs from 2nd place in Preliminary Group A with 2 wins 4-1 against Hong Kong and 8-4 over Portugal and 1 defeat with Great Britain 2-4.

    or 4 Finland teams ..but I still have a feeling that we will have at least one pleasant surprise this year, especially SC Bern looks very good, I watched few their games in the group stage and they are really strong.

    5th medal is Gold number 4 wohoooo Unbelievable games for Slovakia. I think Rio become the most popular city in the world for us..2 gold in olympics and now 4 in summer paralympics !!! Incredible ! So proud of our athletes. So proud! Bravo !
