  2. It shouldn´t be a big problem, since the womens slalom apparently thanks to phelps´s schedule http://www.olympia.at/download/files/{5D5317BA-F710-4591-AAB5-2B8DB6E22B4D}/PyeongChang_2018_-_Olympic_Competition_Schedule_Version_7_October_2016.pdf is scheduled the same day as womens biathlon individual, now we only must hope that will qualify and so heywoodu will spend the 2018 Valentine day in the biathlon venue
  3. Ustiugov unbeatable through 3 stages of Tour de Ski Sergey Ustiugov of Russia left little doubt in today's 20 km Skiathlon that he plans to keep the Tour de Ski leaders bib. Sitting back just outside the top 10 going into the final climb he made an aggressive move to get up into 3rd place by the top. Coming out of the draft on the final downhill Ustiuigov sprinted his way to his third victory in the first three stages. Despite taking an wrong turn early in the free technique portion Norway's Martin Johnsrud Sundby recovered to take second place on the day and hold his place in second in the overall standings. Switzerland's Dario Cologna was back on the podium for the first time since the Tour was in Oberstdorf last season. He took third today +1.0 behind Ustiugov and just +0.4 behind Sundby. Ustiugov now leads the Tour by 29.5 second over Sundby, up from 18.9 seconds after Val Müstair stage 2. Canada's Alex Harvey had another strong day with a 5th place finish and remains in 3rd in the overall standings +1:09.3 back. With his third place finish today Cologna moves up from 6th to 4th in the overall standings +1:25.4 behind. Sweden's Marcus Hellner was a big mover today with a 5th place finish moving up from 9th to 5th in the overall heading into tomorrow's 15km Pursuit in free technique. It will be interesting to see how tight the group is tomorrow following the pursuit event. Full Results Here

  7. well it´s hard to say, the hockey matches are always sold out, but ofc our arenas aren´t so big but hardly you´ll find any empty place, which is not the case of football at least now after the EURO (yes last matches of the EURO qualifiers were sold out too) but now for example the last 2 qualifiers matches against Scotland and Lithuania were attended in average by 9500 spectators, the stadium capacity in Trnava is 19200. and you must count that almost half of stadium were only Scotlands fans

  9. so it´s even more impossible then average attendance slovak football league, if we don´t count Trnava and Dunajská Streda it must be one of the lowest not only in europe but maybe in the whole galaxy total average attendance in slovak hockey league per month in the last column. so clearly football isn´t the most popular at all
  10. well, Canada is without any discussions the home of Hockey
  11. Nilsson takes back Tour lead in Oberstdorf Sweden's Stina Nilsson records her first ever World Cup win with a stunning stage 3 victory in the FIS Tour de Ski Skiathlon competition in Oberstdorf, Germany. With the Top 10 athletes separated by just 12 seconds it was one closest ladies' mass start competitions we have seen in years. Nilsson put on a big push on the final climb and only the USA's Jessie Diggins was able to respond with her. Norway's Heidi Weng and Maiken Caspersen Falla fought hard to keep it close but in the end it was Diggins just +0.2 behind Nilsson for second place with Weng in there for third +1.5 back. It was another top 10 full of many nations. Norway, Sweden, Finland and the USA were represented twice along with one from Russia and Germany. Along with her win today Nilsson has moved into the overall lead again for the second time this Tour after winning the stage 1 sprint competition in Val Müstair, Switzerland. She now leads Weng by 4 seconds and Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg by 12.4 seconds to round out the top 3. Finland's Krista Parmakoski continues to sit 4th in the overall and is actually closer to the lead after picking up the most bonus seconds out on course on the second lap of the competition. She is +38.7 back heading into tomorrow's 10 km Pursuit in free technique. With the top 20 ladies separated by just 90 seconds it should be a very exciting pursuit competition. Full Results Here

  14. I think it´s rather more blue than green in the middle of europe this is probably a map about the number of registred athletes in which sport in the country, ofc there more football players than hockey players in Czech republic, Slovakia, Sweden and Russia, but I´m 100% sure peoples care more about hockey than about football, at least in SVK for sure
