  2. instant classic! he literally destroyed the old record and the entire field great 3rd place for David Bosa (with a new huge PB) in this historical race
  3. women's 10m Air Pistol Gold: Anna Korakaki Silver: Devi Anuradha Bronze: Irina Yunusmetova Final Ranking and Results https://www.issf-sports.org/competitions/venue/csevent.ashx?cseventid=19124

  5. he we go... Stage #1 for Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun in Cairo
  6. it's a farce, but still... Gold for in the women's doubles thanks to Andrea Voetter & Marion Oberhofer Julia Taubitz (women's singles), David Gleirscher (men's singles) and Martins Bots & Roberts Plume (men's doubles) are the other world champions from Today's Sprint Races
  7. it's globalization, baby!
  8. 2195 days: exactly the same amount of time Nole took to lose a match in Wimbledon, when last year he went down to Alcaraz moreover, Sinner is only the 3rd player to have won at least 1 match vs Nole in all the 3 main categories of tournaments (Slams, Davis Cup and ATP Finals): the other 2 are Federer and Nadal not that it wasn't expected, but the whole has gone crazy for Jannik if Discovery Media decides to broadcast the final on a FTA channel (which is not granted at all, they might use this to enforce their paid service), record breaking audience is expected, of course
  9. Corinne Suter also has had troubles with her knee in the same point of the track she didn't fall, but stopped after landing from a jump, crying loudly ACL and meniscus left knee...season over
  10. in it's on Sky Sports even if I'd like more to watch the Lodz meet, with a lot of Italians (especially the Indoor season's debut of world silver medallist Leonardo Fabbri in the men's Shot Put, after a long training period down in )
  11. p.s. still routing for Burkina Faso, even if I think they will be thrashed out by Mali in the rd of 16
  12. no, no...those matches are just the only ones I'm really interested in (actually, most of the African Cup of Nations is a not-to-be-missed event) they have a so different feeling from the usual european/international football I'm so bored with I love this tournament (even if there are no more fun/naive things to watch, like all those macumba/woodoo and whatever rituals they used to do in the past )
  13. the man who competed at the Jr. Pan-Am Champs in 2017 might be a IWF mistake, but the man we're talking about (Yeison Lopez Lopez, born on January 9th 1999) is the convicted cheater there's absolutely no doubt about that this is IWF's notice of his AAF in 2018 https://iwf.sport/2018/11/03/public-disclosure-115/ and this is the news on InsideTheGames https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1071861/two-colombian-weightlifters-provisionally-suspended-after-returning-adverse-analytical-findings-iwf-announce I guess this is enough to end all this argument
  14. what? are you kidding me? Yeison Lopez Lopez, born on January 9th, 1999 https://iwf.sport/weightlifting_/athletes-bios/?athlete=lopez-lopez-yeison-1999-01-09&id=11927 he's exactly the same man with that exact record: yes, he was Jr. World Champion in 2017 and then he went also to the Jr. Pan-Am Champs where he was caught cheating (and if he was doing that for a second tier event, I just can't imagine how he did win the world title ), disappeared for 3+ years and came back bigger and stronger than ever...as if it was possible only by training with fair methods c'mon! retry and you'll get luckier
  15. and it's a shame, as is the only remaining Country in the EU where retired people can come to live and pay absolutely 0 tax on the retirement fee
  16. football legend (still NT top goal scorer) Gigi Riva died earlier Today at the age of 79 https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/breaking-gigi-riva-italy-dies-31942372 R.I.P.
  17. next stop, next week in Boi Taull
  18. Stage #2 ( Comapedrosa) Men's Vertical Race Gold: Rèmi Bonnet Silver: Werner Marti Bronze: Thibault Anselmet Full Ranking and Results https://www.dataskimo.org/pdf/WC-andorra-VR.pdf
  19. Stage #2 ( Comapedrosa) Women's Vertical Race Gold: Alba De Silvestro Silver: Emily Harrop Bronze: Marta Garcia Farres Full Ranking and Results https://www.dataskimo.org/pdf/WC-andorra-VR.pdf
  20. in the meantime, not a great start of the season for the Indoor European Champion Samuele Ceccarelli over his beloved 60m forced to miss some days of training because of a flu, he ran only 6.65 in the final of the Dortmund meet earlier this afternoon (6.69 in the heats) there's still a lot of work to do to recover and get in the best shape before the climax of the indoor season
  21. not sure at 100%, but I think that once she gets the passport and declares for she would lose any privilege (qualification included) reserved to the refugee team members and she would have to try and qualify for her new Home Nation through the regular pathway
  22. in Ancona, Jenns Reynold Fernandez Alfonso clocked a sensational (for him) 6.52 over the 60m (equalled WL), meanwhile hurdles specialist Lorenzo Simonelli improved his PB over the same 60m dash to 6.59
  23. given their "tradition", all those marathon runners destroying record after record in the past months are not trustable at all... no surprise if quite a few of them are caught (actually, I'd be surprised if only 1 or 2 get caught, 'cause there's clearly a group work behind that)
  24. nice start for Gold & Silver in Luge, Bronze in Biathlon, where in the men's event our kid threw the gold medal away with 7 missed shots (with 3, he would have won easily) and in the mixed curling competition, we also started with a clear win over
  25. yes...and they're also on YT (not sure if in every Country)
