The weightlifting qualification rules will change. IWF has submitted the new draft rules to IOC.

Gaurav Bidhuri is not a Olympic prospect - at best in Asian level. A bit apprehensive about Manish as he lost out in the Quarters in the qualifying. Divya Kakran is a great youngster but to be a Olympic prospect, she has to work more. Again, Deepak Kumar is a great wrestler but lost out in the Asian Championships, hence kept him out. Awaiting comments from others.

Quotas in Greco-Roman wrestling?? When did this happen? We have only 4 quotas in wrestling (3 FS men and 1 FS women)

The Indians should not show all their abilities as the Olympics are nearby. Just like Abhinav Bindra did after qualifying. Leave it right there.

We have 8 qualifying and 2 box-offs. Nice improvement from 3 last time. Though we were at 8 also 8 years back.

Which sport? Wt Lifting??

We are getting qualified by the hordes except for Badminton which is the worst performer this qualification. But will the Olympics happen on time?

When is the box-off?

The Olympic rule is quota is won by the country and the national federation. Except for few quotas by rank like in Shooting..

8 quotas for India till now (4 Men and 4 Women)

Everything is fine but will we have the Olympics this time is the question...And the Badminton tournaments are being called off. Its bad time for Saina and others.

Which sport?

The teams are not in the top 8. It is best we do not send the TT players this time. No medals for sure.

Jitender also qualifies shutting the door for Sushil...the oldies should go now. No form...

Our real hope is in Shooting, Wrestling and Boxing, in that order. Probably with addition from men's hockey, mirabai and javelin.
