  17. Champions Cup Football The inaugural four-nation Champions Cup will be held in Chennai from August 17-27, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) confirmed on Tuesday. The annual invitational tournament will feature St Kitts and Mauritius in addition to India while a confirmation is awaited on the fourth team . It is understood that the tournament will be conducted in a league format and the two teams with the most number of points will contest the final. There will be one match each every two days followed by a rest day. There will be one match each on Aug. 18 and 19, followed by a break and then two matches on Aug. 21 and 22. There will be six matches in all followed by the final on Aug. 27.

Now India lost the opportunity to face Japan which is just one rank above India... Now they face World no 2 England and result will be the same... Again Indian Hockey going backward as even Men team performance started to decline...

Junior Shotgun Cup : Indian shooters bag three medals in Double Trap event Indian team comprises of Shardul Vihan, Shapath Bhardwaj & Ahvar Ritzvi won the Gold with the overall score of 402 points. In the individual event, Ahvar Ritzvi lead the Indian challenge to conquer the silver with 71 points in the final, followed by Shardul Vihan who bagged the bronze with 53 points. James Dedman of Great Britain took Gold with 75 points.
