Nothing is known yet about what will happen with excluded countries. They might play European League but with teams like Albania or Luxembourg the level is so low and costs high I think they will just not play at all

According to our media, there will only be one group next year. Most of the teams that currently participate in Group 2 and 3 excluding Japan, China, Korea, Australia and Germany won't be able to play anymore.

Apparently Slovenian federation plans to sue FIVB if the new rules will be applied. Slovakian and Dutch federations which will be totally eliminated from World League under the new system stated they will support the Slovenian federation.

I agree. Personally I think the teams should boycott the next World League if these changes take place. Perhaps even create their own tournament, like basketball clubs did some years ago. I would not be surprised if the stronger team joined too, as they have their reasons to be angry at FiVB,

I am sorry for our young players which gave their best efforts during this tournamenr , but our so called "star players" seemed to be scared of every.single.opponent they faced The only good game was against Brazil (the first game). Italy? No offence, but almost everyone beat them this year. Iran? We won only one game, when their team was without any form I have nothing against de Georgi, but i am really angry at our team - some of them basically blaimed Antiga for all their fails last 2 seasons and now they continue the same mistakes... can't wait till I inevitably hear De Georgi is too weak of a coach for our guys...

Okay, I am all in for 16 teams in all three divisions, but the teams who would be promoted to first group should be Germany, Slovenia, Australia and maybe another european team to try and keep the level. Not Japan and China. This looks just like a money grab by FIVB. I am not saying this current sistem is good, (mostly because of half-empty stadiums during matches - i dont get it why FIVB changed the system after 2015 either) but is still much better than the proposed one. The World League already seems not so prestigious as few years ago. But if this system comes to life...

And of Course, FiVB just HAD to push J$p$n into the group of non-relega ting teams after all they are world class team, not some amateurs from Slovenia or Germany Honestly, if this passes, I am done with the World League (or "12 teams only" league) farce starting next year

What a drama in the final moments of vs Heynen almost forfeited the match after absurd mistake by the referee... still a deserved win for canada, although I would say both teams deserve to qualify to final 6
