  1. The Olympic Team is currently undergoing training in Serbia, to be the most prepared for the Olympics. This VNL means nothing to them, and they want to develop their future team. The domestic players are finally having their time to get seen by the world, and many are already getting offers.
  2. 2012. We placed 9th, and only beat Tunisia.
  3. Thank you, But it means nothing if we can not rack up some wins to close the gap. And we are not playing that well at all. I would be very surprised if we manage to qualify. Hopefully, week 2 will be a better.
  4. Announced their team, even though qualifiers are not yet done, Nikolić u48 Perišić u57 Žabić +78 Bunčić u66 Majdov u90 Kukolj u100 All who you would expect through ranking, but the thing is that Bunčić is in the Continental Quota and there are still Opens to go. He is one of the lower ones and could fall out depending on a vast variety of circumstances. These circumstances hopefully won't happen, but thought I might just mention it.
  5. Does that mean Teodora Vukojević can receive a reallocation quota?
  6. Wait Abidjan is the same weekend at Madrid??? I am very skeptical about this. And so close to the Olympics too. Probably none of it will happen.

  9. Serbia came back to the group event after 6 years, ......... At least we were not last.
  10. beat 3:1 Roughly +5 points on WRL list for us. Not too much, but we need to make a bigger gap between us and Cuba. beat in an intense 3:2 game
  11. This, for Milica Nikolić, was her last IJF event under 48. She will compete u48, at Paris, then she will go up! (she revealed on IJF Golden Score after Dushanbe) Probably 52's? She gained 15 Grand Slam Medals (only 1 gold though) and a lot of 5th places. In 8 world championships, she placed 5th, 7th and 7th.
  12. In u48's..... Koga is out Head dive disqualification in only 15 seconds Tara Babulfath makes it to the semi's. She is only first year junior women. Also, our two Serbian girls lost second round (first round bye)
  13. 14 yrs old Luna Vujović , should become the youngest female player in the top 1000 next week! Only competing at 4 events, she made a Senior W15, Final, SF and QF. It might not seem like much, but she has a bright future ahead. She is also u14 European and Wimbledon champion from last year.

  17. Day 3 will decide if Mongolia or Japan will win the most gold medals. I think it will be Japan as they have some good heavy weights ready Japan's unseeded or not high ranked athletes are making the championships unpredictable Still no draws on IJF though Hope this does not continue for the other events.
