  1. Well, Chile won't have to travel far given they will play Poland on 16th November I suppose this fact isn't unrelated
  2. Buccaneers replacing Arians with a defensive HC was clearly a bad decision. They have some injuries but their offense is hard to watch most of the time. Yeah, I don't buy the 6-0 Eagles at all. They play with a lead too often which always helps the run-first offense.
  3. Title #8 of the season for Iga who beats Donna Vekic in the San Diego final
  4. New York Jets beat Green Bay Packers 27-10 at Lambeau. It seems like they are really turning a corner while Packers have finally run into a wall. HC Matt LaFleur will be under major heat this season. Baltimore Ravens blew another double-digit lead and lost to New York Giants who are also exceeding expectations this season so far.
  5. Another week, another Iga Świątek final - this time in San Diego. Due to rain the second SF will be finished today. Well, she won't play in Guadalajara next week though
  6. Nordic Combined itself has become kinda unpopular and it's reduced to a second-rate sport these days. However the American NC has totally regressed compared to the 90s and 00s. Is Steamboat Springs still operational? Geraghty-Moats would be better off trying in freestyle skiing. This is where USA finds it's winter sport niche in XXI century outside of alpine skiing.
  7. Good thing I'm not a Dodgers fan. Epic collapse from the bullpen in the 7th. And Josh Hader struck out the top of their line-up (Betts, T. Turner & Freeman) on just 10 pitches for the save The Astros must like this NLCS match-up
  8. Philadelphia Phillies is the first team to make the Championship Series as they beat the defending champions Atlanta Braves 3-1. Braves got some very poor pitching in first two games from Max Fried and Spencer Strider (so much for the moustache hype) and Charlie Morton allowed a 3-run HR to Brandon frickin' Marsh tonight to open the floodgates. San Diego Padres can also wrap the NLDS series over the favored Dodgers if they win at home later tonight (somehow I feel that won't happen).
  9. Andreja Slokar out for the season with a knee injury.
  10. Geraghty-Moats is trying in her third sport now? I wonder what will be the fourth? Bobsleigh?
  11. More brainwashed comments about those "insulted" Russians. Yeah, funny what happens when the attacked people fight back, huh? Putin thought the war would be over after 8 days and he's created his own Afghanistan disaster instead
  12. Ain't they all dead people walking at this stage anyway? Starmer appears to be a less polarising figure than Corbyn so all Labour needs is to lay low and watch Tory implode in the next two years?
  13. So Kwasi Kwarteng has been fired as chncellor after a month in office and now Tory admit some UK taxes will rise after all @GrassmarketI suppose the next elections will be moved forward since I can't believe this mess will be tolerated for two more years? https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-63257058
  14. I watched every SOG since 1988 and well, due to youth usually being romanticized by default I pick Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 And yes, Atlanta had GR wrestling in the first week together with judo so Poland led the medal table after two days
  15. Only two people bet against Italy in SF? And one of them was an Italian?
  16. Well, it maybe looks like Jeremy Sochan will be in starting five for the Spurs.
  17. Poland has been fighting wars with Russia since more or less 15th century. You're not fooling anyone in Poland with "peaceful Russia" comments
  18. [hide] Knockout Round October 11th- October 15th, 2022 Third-Place Match Date & Time (GMT +2) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 October 15th 2022, h. 16:00 Italy 3 1 United States Final Date & Time (GMT +2) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 October 15th 2022, h. 20:00 Brazil 2 3 Serbia [/hide]
  19. Well, sorry to disappoint you. Bringing back Russian military bases to Poland would be like bringing back French colonial rule in Algeria. How many Algerians actually wants that?
  20. Poland had Soviet military bases for 46 years after WWII and NOBODY, I mean, NOBODY misses them here. We'll take NATO bases over Russia any given day
  21. Some Latin Democrats from LA city council were busted for racist remarks and swiftly resigned from office I assume that is their political careers over. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-63237924
  22. That is some straight up bullshit
  23. Czech Republic bans entry to Russian tourists (and athletes) from October 25th. They waited until the recent WTA 500 Ostrava tournament ended but still... https://www.praguemorning.cz/czech-republic-bans-entry-to-russian-tourists-starting-october-25/
  24. Meanwhile Rangers go 1-7 down to Liverpool at home
  25. Kamalpreet Kaur (6th place in OG discus) banned for three years for stanozolol. https://www.espn.in/olympics/trackandfield/story/_/id/34780371/kamalpreet-kaur-three-year-ban-doping-violation-stanozolol-explainer-indian-athletics
