  1. No, we will focus our attention to the Winter Olympic Games preidction contests.

  3. Here you can access the complete Schedule of Events for the Winter Olympic Games 2018. As each Sport releases a more detailed Schedule for the Winter Olympic Games 2018, this information will be added here on the thread to make a more accurate and detailed overall Schedule of Events. Click on a single Day to see that Day's Schedule. Complete Schedule
  4. The thread has been splitted into two different threads: General Discussion Thread and Politics Thread. All posts about politics have been moved into that thread. Also a National Athletes of the Year thread has been created, those posts are about sports so they are not off topic
  5. People spend time and energies in the results forum, so I will not give up on this. If you are so against the results forum that you do not even want to click a button to open the link it doesn't mean nobody does it. It is pretty much the only rule of the forum, few years ago the "rules" were much stricter. I am not even asking users to spend time and do the format by themselves, but just to leave the first post free and an admin will put the right format. From the second post on, you can post whatever you want.
  6. No, you are probably thinking about @Ionoutz24
  7. Yes should be like this. Try to logout and login again or from a different browser.

  9. Yes, there are no differences between user groups now. But for some reasons I forgot to change the value for your user group (Totallympics Bronze Medallist), so that's why you didn't find the option. Should be ok. The other 2 users of this user grup are @dareza and @Gianlu33, so you are allowed to upload attachments from today on
  10. Tennis Australian Open 2018 Melbourne (AUS) - 10 January 2018 - 28 January 2018 Totallympics Results Thread
  11. Of course I will. Also, threads can be opened and when they do not reach a certain level of interest, they can be merged in the discussion thread of that sport some days after the latest reply (so when the thread could be considered as "dead" for that topic).
  12. It's not, this has been decided time ago and regardless from the policy
  13. From today on, @VolleyRuller96 is a new moderator of the forum. He will be responsible of checking posts around the forum and operate as soon as the discussions gets off topic or too animated. Good luck!
  14. This is the most important thing. We can move the separation line, but we need to have one.
  15. I understand your point of view. I don't agree with the view "let the users to make the forum their own", that would be anarchy and I don't believe anarchy could work anywhere, not even on a sports forum. Anyway, we will try to have more separated threads for competitions in the future so that the discussion threads will be just for smaller events or general news.
  16. Not sure to understand what you are talking about. Are you talking about the Discussion Threads ? What is your proposal ?
  17. I changed the question in "How was your 2017 speaking about Sports only?", so it is more clear If someone who has already voted wants to change his vote let me know, I can do that manually.
  18. Hello everyone, the post-Olympic year is going to finish and a new sports year is going to start, a year with the Winter Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup and the first Olympic Qualifications for Tokyo 2020, which hopefully you will all follow on Totallympics and more people will join us before, during and after the events. A special thank you to the 6 users who last year subscribed to the Premium Membership, allowing me to have some extra motivations during the last year when my motivations to keep up the project were a bit low. So thank you @Prashanth, @nitinsanker, @OlympicIRL, @hukbrazil, @heywoodu and @Pavlo for your gesture. Now that I have more motivations, I was able to reduce the costs of hosting the website and I am able to pay most of them with the money I receive from the ads (which is very few, but still enough to cover most of the costs), the Premium Membership and the donations are not necessary anymore and Totallympics is free for everyone again. So you are all now allowed to add your own signature in your profile, which will be shown after each of your posts. As always, everyone can help Totallympics to grow trying to get more users from his/her own nation on national forums/social networks/communities and a way to do so is to make your National Thread active (see Serbia and India, more users attract more users as everywhere around the web) and I wish in the future every national community on the forum can get bigger
  19. This is not the right to talk about that, but I have already suggested and I will push to add a rule with a minimum number of posts or a minimum time of actitivity on the forum to be elogible for the next Contests.
  20. Biathlon IBU Cup 2017 - 2018 Multi-Stage Event - 23 November 2017 - 17 March 2018 Totallympics Results Thread
  21. Posts written between 23.45 and 00.45 CET here on October 25th-26th and between 03.30 and 20.30 CET on October 25th on the results forum went lost. Everything is fine now so @LDOG please do the edits again in the results thread and sorry for that.
  22. PS: I have splitted also threads for MLB and NHL so we can have a different thread for each of the top american sports leagues. Now only NFL is missing, if you want to open it
  23. I agree with you about that, but I think it should be the other way around: when there is enough interest for a thread, that thread will have the "rights" to be stand alone thread. And this is what we are already doing in other threads. For example, there were some posts about FIFA U17 World Cup, and those posts have been splitted from the discussion thread to become a separated thread. Of course in a perfect world there would be enough interest and posts about every single event any user open the thread for. And if Lesotho national league will ever become so interesting for users that there will be hundreds of posts about that, of course we would have that thread separated from the discussion thread. But it is normal than in an Olympic Sports forum the club sports gain less interest, so we have to find some general and objective rules to follow all around the forum, because of course NBA will gain more interest than Lesotho national league, but there could be many examples of events/leagues which would gain lots of interest in my eyes and zero interest in your eyes and the other way around.
