Who do you think will be the favorites for the tournament in Budapest? Hungary? It's a shame only one team will advance... The minimum goal for Italy should be to stay at that`s division, but realistically, we can fight for a top-3, I think.. Advancing in this situation will be very difficult- especially since Hungary is the hosts and the group is such that you can basically win or lose against anyone. By the way, I'm a little surprised that Austria is playing in the Elite? I didn't think Austria was that strong in women hockey, considering they haven't even played at the Olympics recently. -

for the women Jorinde van klinken and alida van daalen rule the day for the dutch with 68.98[second best result in klinken's career] and 67.99 for van daalen[pb],marike steinacker 66.55. Melina robet michon exteneds her women's over 45 world record that she just got from 64.63 a few days ago to 65.96 that's her fourth best throw of all time passing a throw all the way back from 2002. Meanwhhile Valarie sion's new debut with her new married name does not go well only 65.18 6th place out of 7th and the first loss since the world championships in 2023 in budapest,she had won 30 comps in a row before this. of course she's looking to do much better on sunday. -

results from ramona in reverse order of the top 6 for the men Alex Rose- 70.43 Roje Stona-70.66[pb] Sam Mattis-72.45[New American and North American record after 43 years] 8th on the all time list Kristjan Ceh- 72.61[furthers his slovenian record,7th on the all time list] Steven Richter- 74.00[8 cm off the german record.jumps from a pb of 69.61 in ramona last year,also had throws of 73.96,and 73,15 in the series worst throw was 69.90] 4th all time result,3rd on the european all timelist now only behind Mykolas Alekna and jurgen schult] Matthew Denny- 74.04[very consistant series all over 70 meters,however has had longer throws in ramona.] first time ever in discus history six men have gone over 70 metres in one comp,yes this was all in one flight. sequals on sunday. -
We could have in a team sport competition and we are going to have to setle for ..... sigh.... They really fumbled the bag with this one -

The IOC should make a decision regarding Russia in all team sports, because currently we have a situation where they compete in some disciplines- water polo, but not in others – volleyball, basketball, etc. The Olympic qualifications will begin soon and this should be somehow regulated, but of course the IOC is doing nothing about it. -
