Ana Martinez :GUA is playing Racketball finals today,  I hope she wins at least 1 gold, her best chance is Women Doubles, and hoping for Individual gold.

Longoria :MEX might not be as dominant as she was a few years ago, but I’d still fancy her for gold. I do like a good upset though, and Guatemalan gold in racquetball would be pretty neat.

I really like how they’ve worked handball into an existing venue. This event needs more venues like that in the future. Countries shouldn’t have to pay a large bill to host. The costs threaten the viability of these Games.

:DOM takes bronze in women’s handball. :MEX squandered too many chances in that match unfortunately.

I think this is the first time an outdoor velodrome has been used for a continental/regional multi-sport games since the 2014 Asian Games?

Interesting use of space as they’ve put the patinodrome in the center of the velodrome.

:COL:MEX just rode the most chaotic women’s team pursuit race I’ve seen. Both teams obliterated after 3000m. Colombia with a sloppy change. Mexico’s lead rider continuously leaving the train behind.

:MEX takes it in the end.

Same 3 teams qualify as in Lima 2019 from the CAC Games.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
