There is no Euro result, as there is no European polity. There are 27 national results, with most people voting for national reasons. Some countries even held simultaneous national elections.
The extreme right did well in some countries, like France, but not so well in others, like Hungary and Poland. All in all, the far Right is up a little, but the parliament is still firmly in control of Christian and Social Democrats and Liberals. Unlike in my country, the far right did not take over the levers of control.
I had to deal a few times with one of the candidates in my job; she’s an absolute nutter.
ExpandSo, Rutte is (finally) out of the picture in the coming weeks and all of a sudden NED has no issues letting BG in Schengen

Two-faced politicians, surely this hasn't happened before.
Wishful thinking. If Wilders had his way, our country would leave the EU.
International law is about much more than courts and tribunals.
Just a quick look shows you’re wrong again.
The website of the Rwanda tribunal informs us that there are currently 10 judges, with a majority not from Western countries (Togo, Senegal, China, Pakistan, Russian Federation, Madagascar).
from wikipedia: the Yugoslavia tribunal had nearly 90 judges, with at least 40 from non western countries.
ExpandAgree, the whole concept of “International Law” is basically a way for Western lawyers to earn big bucks & travel First Class & stay in luxury hotels. Take the International Court away from The Hague, locate it in Bolivia & pay local salaries & you would never ever hear of it again.
Which international court in The Hague do you mean, as there are two courts that could be described as such. Also, international law is much more than those two courts. There’s for instance that “favorite” of right wing Britons, the European Court of Human Rights in Strassbourg.

It seems a majority of Ukrainians see things a little differently.
