35th Athlete and 6th sport has been added to Team Slovensko today. Viktória Čerňanská succeded to qualify to her 2nd careers Olympics after her debut in Beijing 2022. Just like in China the 26 years old Youth Olympic silver medalist will start again in the W Monobob and try to improve her 17th place from 4 years ago. Slovensko bude mať zastúpenie aj v boboch Viktória Čerňanská si zaistila olympijskú miestenku na ZOH 2026 v monoboboch Slovensko bude mať na ZOH 2026 v Miláne a Cortine d'Ampezzo zastúpenie aj v boboch. Na februárových hrách sa predstaví Viktória Čerňanská, ktorá si zabezpečila zisk olympijskej miestenky v monoboboch. Dvadsaťtriročná bobistka definitívne spečatila svoju účasť na ZOH svojimi jazdami na podujatí Severoamerického pohára v Lake Placid, kde v dvoch súťažiach monobobov obsadila piate a štvrté miesto. Viktória Čerňasnká sa kvalifikovala na olympiádu na základe kombinovaného rebríčka Medzinárodnej bobovej a skeletonovej federácie (IBSF), v ktorom jej patrí momentálne 22. miesto a už ju nemôže nikto z postupových pozícií vytlačiť. IBSF zverejní zoznam kvalifikovaných po konci celého kvalifikačného obdobia (18. januára). Na ZOH sa v monoboboch dostane 25 pretekárok, okrem kombinovaného rebríčka sa do úvahy bude brať aj monobobový renking. Slovensko má aktuálne nárok na jednu miestenku v tejto disciplíne. Čerňanská si miestenku zaistila najmä výsledkami na Severoamerickom pohári, kde skončila v monoboboch raz štvrtá, dvakrát piata a trikrát šiesta. Počas sezóny štartovala aj na jedných pretekoch Svetového pohára, v lotyšskej Sigulde obsadila 14. priečku. Čerňanská sa predstaví pod piatimi kruhmi druhýkrát v kariére, pred štyrmi rokmi v Pekingu skončila na 17. mieste. Slovenská pilotka sa bude ešte usilovať získať olympijskú miestenku spoločne s brzdárkou Luciou Mokrášovou aj v disciplíne dvojboby. V rebríčku sa takisto zatiaľ držia na postupových pozíciách.
