    Egle crashing during the first run was the reason why she did not get into the podium position. She nearly got there. Same as Julia Taubitz. There is quite a rivalry brewing between Madeleine Egle and Julia Taubitz in the near future.

    I hope that Shiffrin can recover from these two DNF. Her quotes are not encouraging. She is doubting herself now.

    Realistically, Geisenberger needs a clean run to win her third gold medal. Only Berreiter has a chance to catch her. The curve 13 indeed made a difference.
