I haven't find any info about that, but, my guess is the priority will be from the events which take place before... so, we will have African Championship as first qualifier. Second, third and fourth place will be allocated a quota each. If they finish in a qualifying position in Worlds, it will be reallocated to the next best ranked athlete at Worlds but just a guess

I was taking a look at the MTB Olympic Rankings (which looks very unofficial so far, because the period of qualification starts on May 7th). Anyway, taking in consideration the current scenario we have those countries taking the quotas by ranking Men All those countries look safe for the quotas by ranking, so the event will be a good opportunity to in order, the best ranked countries Women Those are safe... are a little bit distant of TOP 19, and they are the contenders for it

for the quotas, or for the title? haha For quotas I'd say Americas - Asia - or Africa - or Oceania - Europe - Almost all teams hahah I think the quotas for America will be the most interesting. USA will probably get it easily, but the second one will depend a lot. Canada and Brazil may face each other at second round, and it could be decisive for them. I think and have a good chance to take it.

But with different results... probably because he gets one in WC and the other one in European... That's a new update from IWF. They released a "long list", where they are considering all categories and more than one athlete from each country. I don't know if it was a mistake by them, or they've added him twice intentionally

Weird, you are the second person to say me that. @Josh also did it. Tbh, I am not sure because I am not too much into the Cycling Track Qualification. But, the event in Canada finished on April 23th. And these rankings, are based on the ranking published by UCI on April 24th. So, I thought it was already counting the points from that event. (The 27th in the link is the day when it was updated, not exaclty the most updated ranking by the federations)

Only the African Championship and the event for Oceania (still to be announced) will give direct quotas. Europe, Asia and Americas will use the Games for each region. Also, those events will guarantee points for the Olympic Qualifier Series rankings, and some direct quotas to this event as well
