Sport climbing will definitely have exceeded. Especially if Toby matches his 2nd place qualification with a silver medal. 3 finalists is huge.

I don’t really care what the general public think. We’ve hit the lower end of the medal target UK Sport set Yes it doesn’t help that Kenny predicted 8 golds but anybody who watches track cycling on a regular basis knows it was an extreme prediction.

Absolutely useless tempo race from Hayter. Medal chance gone already because he’s done absolutely nothing.

Is that fencing round so bad for Choong he’s completly chanceless now? I will have to hope the horses are completly up for causing carnage.

Finucane still has 2 gold chances, MHS tonight, Taekwondo to come and the girls love a Madison. Still plenty of time but Australia just happen to have peaked at the right time and had the best games of their lives just like we did finishing 2nd in Rio. Hard to begrudge them (still hope we have enough in the tank though to finish 4th).

Sport Climbing has started and I’ll happily admit that I have no idea what is going on when it comes to bouldering. With speed it’s get to the top as quick as you can and lead it’s just get to the top. But bouldering… not a clue. Hopefully Toby performs to the level of his World Cup performances.

That relay won’t medal. Would have been confident with Peaty. Absolutely not with Wilby That 4x400 looks solid as well. Obviously our A team would be strong gold contenders but I’d have never expected MHS or Dobson to give it a go. Richardson is guaranteed a medal in the boxing at least after all the robberies of the women. Helps the medal tally and another sport that picks up a medal!

Two bad races for Beckett as well considering he’s a gold medal chance. Hopefully he has a better day of it tomorrow and can put a set of results together.
