watched two player interwiews, both seem to be washing their hands and saying that ''the new generation is coming'' so yeah ,what i said is confirmed,it's gonna take time, odds of the normal basketball team to be at la is very low.

In Italy many veterans will also leave apart from Fontecchio. In retrospect: from the beginning of the 21st century we had the greatest successes with players from clubs only for Europe: 2003/2004 (then we had no one from the NBA) and our golden generation on paper: Bargnani-Belinelli- Gallinari- Datome- Hackett etc ( 4 of them played in the NBA) were not able to even win bronze at the European Championships 2013/2015/2017 and didn`t advance to the Olympic Games in 2016, even though we had a qualifying tournament at home. We played at the Olympic Games only in 2021 but Gallinari didn`t take part in the qualifications and only played at the Olympic Games. I also understand you a little. Good atatistics in the NBA don`t always translate into good play in the national team.

2004, so 20 years ago, although objectively we shouldn`t have won this medal under any circumstances on paper but when we had the best players in history and 4 from the NBA, we didn`t even advance to the 2016 Olympics. Life is very twisted sometimes...

I followed the results of the European Junior Championships in swimming in Vilnius and Lithuania started very well but these are young people for the future. For now, you still have the great Meilutytye in the breastroke style: our Pilato has no chance against her in the 100 meters.

Rūta seemed to be sick at that Italian comp, hopefully she's gonna be alright and fully ready for Paris. We have Danas rapšys too from the current ones, yeah maybe he's an outside chance for a medal at the 200 freestyle but i honestly think it's possible.

The level of swimming has improved significantly since Tokyo: mainly due to the increase in the level of China, as well as Australia + traditionally the USA. If it weren't for Russia, the level would be astronomical.

I meant that if there was Russia, the level would be extremely high. Its absence is somewhat offset by China's rapid growth in last years. The Chinese woman has the best time in the 100 breaststroke this year: she will a danger oponent for Ruta and Beny Pilato.

Yeah,i was confused by what you wanted to say.Yeah China is coming, despite the controversy,i'm just happy that as i understand sun yang or whoever was that Chinese swimmer who smashed  his doping test won't be at paris.

    • Team Challenge   The theme for this years team challenge will be counties in the UK. For equal representation, I have selected at least 1 county for each of the 4 main countries that make up the UK. The 7 selected counties where drawn into each of the 7 teams.    The draw result:      Here is a little factfile on each of the 7 counties:    Team Merseyside Rank # Total 0 0 0 0 0 0   Merseyside is an English county located in the North West region of the UK. It's biggest settlements include Liverpool, Southport St Helens and Birkenhead. Merseyside is know for it's music and sport, with bands like The Beatles and The Coral and clubs like Everton and Liverpool all coming from the county.
    • Team Challenge   For this years team challenge every country will be split up into 7 groups of 5. Now if  don't have to be withdrawn then every team members points will count, but if they do then only the top 4 team members results. After 10 votes the team with the least amount of points is eliminated, after that a team will be eliminated after every 5 votes.    The teams were drawn automatically using a random draw generator. All the countries were split into 5 different pots based off the all time ranking medals list followed by the participations list.     Pot 1 Pot 2 Pot 3 Pot 4 Pot 5 France New Zealand China Argentina Albania Canada Czech Republic Hungary Bulgaria Chile Great Britain Denmark Malta Tunisia Guatemala Ireland Lithuania Mexico Greece Indonesia Italy Serbia Brazil India Turkey Netherlands Spain Romania Poland Moldova Sweden United States Slovenia Slovenia Portugal   The Draw Results:
    • In terms of the first table, there were 2 clubs missing that are/could be apart of the Professional/Semi Professional English League system.    The first are the Wigan Warriors (club logo above), they play in Super League (1st Division) and are the defending back to back Super League champions. Not quite sure how I forgot to add them, but somehow I did.    The second are the Bedford Tigers (club logo above). They originally weren't set to join the system from non league but there are strong rumours that they are now set to join League 1 (3rd Division), replacing the aforementioned Cornwall.
    • A B C D E F G 1 2 3 4 5   A B C D E F G 1 15 11 23 19 26 23 32 2 18 22 27 8 14 5 24 3 31 3 33 34 17 7 28 4 21 9 4 1 10 35 13 5 16 30 12 6 25 29 2 A4 are the London Broncos, D4 is Barnet, E2 is Workington Town, E5 is Forest Green Rovers, G4 is St Helens, A1 is Maidenhead United, D2 is Whitehaven, E3 is Tamworth, F1 are the Barrow Raiders, F4 is Southend United, G1 is Cornwall and D1 is Brackley Town.    London Broncos play in the Championship (2nd Division) and Barent (National League - 5th Division) lost to Exeter City (League 1 - 3rd Division) in the 1st round.  Workington Town play in League 1 (3rd Division) and Fores Green Rovers (National League - 5th Division) lost to Stockport County (League 1 - 3rd Division) in the 1st round.    St Helens play in Super League (1st Division) and Maidenhead United (National League - 5th Division) lost to Crawley Town (League 1 - 3rd Division) in the 1st round.    Whitehaven play in League 1 (3rd Division) and Tamworth (National League - 5th Division) beat former Premier League team Huddersfield Town (League 1 - 3rd Division) to progress to the 2nd round.    Barrow Raiders play in the Championship (2nd Division) and Southend United (National League - 5th Division) lost to former Premier League team Charlton Athletic (League 1 - 3rd Division) in the 1st round.    Cornwall play in League 1 (3rd Division) and Brackley Town (National League North - 6th Division) beat Braintree Town (National League - 5th Divison) to progress to the 2nd round.    And that's it, the draw is complete. A big thanks to @Belle and @Henry_Leon for helping out. The provisional schedule will be up in due course as well as the results of the team comp draw.
    • And final shot of three   D2 - E3 F1  - F4 G1 - D1
    • And the last 3 as well to finish all the draw.
