Women's Ice Hockey IIHF Division III Group A World Championship 2022

 

 

Tournament Format

 

Sadly, Only 5 Nations will compete in this Tournament, announced its withdrawal from this year edition.

Although Turkey withdrew they will not be relegated, due Force Majeur reason resulting from tragic earthquake last week. Turkey will receive a blank "card" and will be reinstated in this division automatically also next year

 

Classic Round-Robin Format Tournament will be played by 5 Nations, Every team will play once against each opponent.

 

The 1st Ranked Team will qualify for the next year Women´s Division II Group A World Championship,

 

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th Ranked Nations alongside of absent Turkey will stay in this category also for the next edition.

 

The 5th Ranked Nation will be Relegated to the next year´s Women´s Division III Group A World Championship.
