Archery WA World Cup 2025 (Shanghai)

t's sad to see this, as Fede was winning everywhere she competed last year, and now we haven't even managed a single podium finish in the giant slalom, and it'll probably stay that way until the end of the season. Without Fede and Bassino, unfortunately, we're out of luck in this event. Goggia should probably skip the giant slalom, as she has no chance of a podium finish, and she risks further injuries. Will Goggia finish 8th or 10th? What difference does it make? If she couldn't get a podium finish today with so many DNFs at the top, she never will. Della Mea is fine, but let's be honest, she's not World Cup material. Overall, it's a sad picture, and we have a 0% chance of anything in Cortina unless a miracle happens in Brignone.

Mikaela Shiffrin  off the podium today (Edit: Oops...I thought this was slalom, not Giant Slalom.).  Nina Astner  entered the 2nd run in 30th place, but had the best second run, jumping up 18 places to 12th.
