Many things, probably they thought it is already over and the win will come itself... but also Nitra improved their play a lot, they outplayed us in physicality in the last 2 games, they won almost every duel. Was hard to watch. Anyway I am still persuated we will finish the job at home with success on Tuesday
At one point it seemed we were making good progress in this sport, but in the past 1-2 years things seem to have hit a standstill..
Ivaylo Ivanov is still our only elite judoka, but he is passing 30. There were/are some promising youngsters, but they haven't been able to make a jump to the senior level. At this Euro we barely had any first round wins (not including Ivanov). In fencing and taekwondo the results are much more visible for us.
yes, but that's only an (important) episode...
I mean, what's up with your team more in general...it looks like they got the classic "fear to win", they're not as brilliant as they were in the early games of the series
after a few leagues ended well before the true climax, now we have both leagues from the good, old Czechoslovakia going to game #7
shame that both games will be at the exact same time
