    Thought so. It would be so strange and disgraceful for him to publish something thats not official or at least plausible. From this chart i posted, only colored lifters should qualify. Blue ones are CQ. He is 2 or 3rd from Europe, if i remember correctly. Maybe he knows that somebody wont compete or something like that. @MHSN didnt mention him as possible candidate so i hope he can resolve this puzzle.

    My point exactly. He def had some symptoms but they were minimal. Usually they do have.

    Well, palpitations, vertigo, shortness of breath, chest pains as symptoms. Ortostatic hypotension, ultrasound abnormalities, ECG abnormalities as signs.

    I am MD. I was working in ER. So i have witnessed this many times. Medically speaking, it cant be prevented but medicine can recognize subtle signs of failing heart or any other organ.

    Shocking indeed. He is full professional, probably has best care on monthly basis and this happens. Hundreds of ECGs, endurance tests and still this couldnt be prevented.

    And it still amazes me that even best 21st medicine cant prevent this happening.

    I am not so sure that evening match can be played in normal atmosphere. This was so shocking. Aside 2003, i think its first time this happened at EC or WC.
