(I should say, btw, that I know that, having--in a truly delightful irony--gone to reward myself with a drink on my somehow finishing my picks with abt 30 seconds to go, following a mad dash through the final ~10 events, I returned to discover that I'd not actually pressed "submit", such that ultimately my picks were submitted nearly two minutes after the deadline; I'll understand entirely, then, if they can't be accepted, although I'll note that as it happens there's been no advantage--with the delay of the start of the men's walk, no competition had begun by the time of my submitting. At any rate, apologies for my inadvertent tardiness.)
