  3. Mika Zibanejad collected 6 points for 3 goals and 3 assists during a single period last night In the 2nd period of last night NY Rangers demolition of Philadelphia 9:0 The / forward had first 3 goal assists and then scored a hattrick between 29th and 39th minute. This is only the 2nd time ever someone in the league did it. The 23rd December 1978 Bryan Trottier did the same during the NY derby between Rangers and his Islanders.
  4. Wait, what ? when exactly did I say something like that. You put words in my mouth that I never said. I have never claimed that there are the same number of disciplines. after all, it is obvious. I'm just trying the millionth time to explain that Petra deserve fully the globe, the calendar was created early before the season, everyone knew what it would look like. Is it Petra who created the calendar ? Is it Magoni who created this schedule ? Is it their faults FIS schedulled more technical events than speed races ? and yet they removed all parallel slaloms (Petra top discipline) and replaced them by only 1 Parallel GS, they never replaced the cancelled GS from Sestriere, where Petra was btw leading after the 1st run. The GS was the only cancelled race of the season until today Downhill. The rules and schedule were the same for everyone, go and shout at the clouds that FIS is unfair with its world cup schedulling.. Once again, No one prevented Lara from racing in slaloms and trying to collect some points. who know, mabe she would earn here 10 points, there another 15 and so... Petra sacrified GS & SL trainings to learn speed disciplines, entered all downhill of the season, although she is piss poor bad in them. Even so, she yet managed to collect some valuable points, these points can very well decide in the end. and I really have also other things to do than constantly repeat the same words and arguments like a parrot, so, I will not longer bether myself with this. Cheer to whoever you want, think whatever you want. I hope Petra will win it, because she deserve it and even if she will fail, nevermind, she already made miracles based on the situation and all circumstances, so for me the case is closed

  6. Well, no. Very weird comparison to be fair, missing a earlier weight in 1 single hugh jump competition is sorry, but definitely not the same like not participating in +/- 10 races counting for a World Cup overall standing. Also I think you missed the point what I was trying to present. However, as I said, everyone has the right to have his own oppinion and cheer to whoever he want, so let it be. I know if Petra will win this, suddenly plenty of hates left and right will suddenly appear around that it was undeserved, pointless competition, won only because of weather, only because of luck and blah, blah, blah...

  9. Everyone has the right to his opinion, I respect that. But on the other hand, I disagree with the claim that Lara (which I really like as athlete btw) deserves more the big globe than Petra. If Lara wanted to win thr big globe, why didn't she start in any slalom ? Petra was the only one to compete in all competitions, every fricking race the whole season ! for this goal and hopefully arriving success she had to sacrify her strongest disciplines (was mainly visible with her struggling in GS) and had to train much much more and mainly in speed disciplines. She entered races without any support team and practically no information about the pistes and slopes in the downhill runs in places she stood for the first time in her life and never was before there at all, yet she managed to get an incredible number of points many times against opponents much more experienced and I suppose better than she is in the mentioned evets. So for me only based on this point of view, Petra deserves the big globethis season the most of all. She sacrificed for it the most. You may disagree, but I personally think If she focused only on her disciplines SL & GS, it is very likely that both small globes would probably have already been decided right now. Next season she will focus back only on SL&GS+AC with the Beijing Gold goal, concentrate fully only on them and race only in a couple of WC races before the Olympics, how it will finish we will see in Beijing.
  10. will enter 3 wrestlers M Freestyle: -74 kg: Tajmuraz Salkazanov -86 kg: Boris Makoev M Greco-Roman: -77 kg: Denis Horváth Not sure about the real chances here, but certainly ths is the strongest line up (in FS) our federation has send to the olympic qualifiers in a while. Remember last time competed in Wrestling at the Olympics was 2008 in Beijing when David Musulbes won bronze in the M FS heavyweight, later upgraded to Silver after the DSQ of the uzbek Artur Taymazov for doping

  16. No. The rules do not allow this, precisely in order to avoid such eventual situation and favor a domestic skier, the rules for the World Cup Finals have been invented and unchanged for decades already. In the case of cancellation of any of the races, it cannot be replaced by any other races. It also can not be moved to any other date and must take place only on the originally determined day (obviously the only change permitted is to postpone the start time but again only in that given day).
