Positives from the 56th NATIONAL INTER STATE Sr ATH.CHAMPIONSHIPS-2016 Long Jump W - Neena surely the immediate big one to follow in the event has hit 6.45m, I strongly hope she would go n break Anju Record...though she has improved only 0.06m in almost a year. Hope they send her for good training to improve. 10000mW Run - Sanjivani Jadhav 33:54.77 though 2 min away from the NR she is just 20 years and if nurtured properly she is the potential star in the future... 5000mM - Rahul 14:36.71 though 1.10 min away from the NR he is just 19 years and if nurtured properly he is the potential star in the future... Hammer Throw W - Saritha hope she pushes Manju and push the mark more further she threw 61.19 , who has the PB of 61.81m. Hope they can push each other at least for next 2 Olympics.... Shot Put - Hope the Manpreet Jr pushes the senior for more glory has the Jr who is just 20 is just around a meter away from NR...Hope here too we can have good duo fight and attain glory for India. Jr had the PB today with 16.78m
  2. Karman Thandi is her name who is 18 years n 644, Snehadevi 19 yrs at 468 and Ria at 19 n 610...they are coming slowly if given chances they would come up...
  3. We have Ramkumar who is 21, Yuki at 23 and Sumit at 19 who are future in Singles Men's We have Mahesh prodigy she is 17 and doing good. If you see my old posts I have spoken about young Indians in Tennis.
  4. Correct we are moving forward in sports. No issues if we don't get medals but sure in next Olympics we would do more better. I feel athletics we are the best ever team. other too we are doing good.

  19. Good Idea...I think we need to post more results over here. I used to get results first her, But now I am getting from out and don't find the results here at all. we are ignoring more events going on.

We are here debating who to send and whom not to, But have forgotten the NR created yesterday by Muhammed Anas who clocked 45.44s in 400m heats at meet in Poland to break teammate Rajiv Arokia's national record of 45.47s. Both of them are pushing each other and I hope both make the cut for Olympics. They are really doing good need to talk about these guys though they have not made the cut. The effort is truly showing even though they are not world class but pushing Indian best mark by far. Hope Milkha Flying Singh would be proud of these 2 lads.
  21. In the women's 400m, the 2014 Asian Games Bronze medalist M.R. Poovamma clocked her season's best timing of 52.31s, while Anilda Thomas finished with 52.72s and Debashree Majumdar clocked 53.30s. The women's qualifying mark for Rio OG is 52.20s.
