    This season the European Indoors are very important for qualification for the olympics. They bring more points than a normal competition outdoor, so it would be hopeful to reach a good place here, if you not the limit from WA.

    Is that something new? I‘m also very disappointed that Leduc get no place. She was really close the the French limit and is still in the TOP 20 in Europe and has to potential to make it even through to the final. Also surprised that Zahi is in the Team, after her injury in Karlsruhe.

    Yes it’s getting popular, but for example in 2013 there was no opportunity to watch the World Cup in Grand Bornand in TV. @OlympicsFan I think at the moment there are 2 professional Biathlon places in France: Premanon and Bessans (Haute Maurienne). Le Grand Bornand is only open during the World Cup and in Places like Correncon and Les Saises there is the opportunity to train, but it is not really professional there.

    Great performance from Lipowitz today . Riehtmueller looked good on skis, but to many misses for a medal. The Rest of the German team, especially in the Youth Category, looked not that well. But in the sprints everything could be really different ...

    Such a bad performance ... it was very easy in this heat to qualify for the final. Ladies are in the final, but I think no real medal chance.

    Men also racing on the very easy 1.2k course, as the women. So you could put two sprinters in, as the Norwegians does.

    This rule is only due to the war, weather. Because the second semi final could have a much slower course. „Sunday schedule ? @oberstdorf2021 ❗Since the course conditions from Semi Final 1 to Semi Final 2 can change a lot with the current snow, the qualification rules have been adapted under agreement with teams, Cross-Country and Rules & Control committee that top-4 teams from each Semi Final will be qualified plus 2 by the time. „

    I‘m surprised from Karlsson. She looked not that good before the world champs. Without the crash she could be there with Johaug.

    And for Karlsson it seems to be now no more chance for a medal. Good Team work from Russians and Swedish girls so far. Norway looks not that great as expected.
