Van Aert takes the win in Paris and wins a mountain stage, time trial and mass sprint in the same Tour, wow. For context, the only other two riders to do so were Bernard Hinault and Eddy Merckx, both once in the 70's.

No record for Cavendish, sort of a cruel punishment for the team's arrogance: letting the group go Friday so Cavendish could take the record on the Champs-Élysées instead of some town somewhere in whoknowswhere.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Van der Poel, Van Aert and Pogaçar really are superhuman cyclists. They made this a memorable tour despite GC not being competitive at all. And of course Mollema's stage win on my birthday, that was rather generous of him!:d
