@MHSN just watched and they have fixed the mistake in women's +61...

Now Gong Li is 3rd and in green, as it should be...;)

so, as of today, we have Zaretska, Abbasali, Li and Hocaoglu qualified, with Quirici who could overtake Li if she wins the European Gold (if I'm not wrong)...

unfortunately, by missin the Lisbon event, Semeraro can't be better than 7th, even if she wins the Gold Medal in Porec (and most likely, she's going to end up 8th in any case), so it's going to be almost impossible to earn the European repechage spot (we would need Gong Li to qualify via ranking, so to make Alipour get her repechage place and leave one more spot open at +68 -and of course Plank should lose a few positions by not having a good tournament in Porec)...

by the way, I still hope that this happens, so take a lot of pressure off Semeraro before the final OQT in Paris...

why is this qualification system such a mess? :wall:  :hairpull:

Plank could miss many position in ranking. She defend silver medal, less than bronze is not enough for her. Semeraro and Plank are 50-50
Real standings:
Plank 4537 (15th)
Semeraro 5160 (12th)

before the news about Olympic being postponed for a year. WKF acted stupid and announced a list of qualified athletes. assuming there will be no time for the remaining events. later they changed it.

from that list almost everybody made it to the Olympics AGAIN. but we had 2 changes.

:BRA Vinicius Figueira OUT ==> :EGY Ali El Sawy IN

:SUI Elena Quirici OUT ==> :CHN Gong Li IN

WKF finally updated its Olympics ranking. we knew top 4 for the direct quotas. but I'm going to make a list of top athletes for the continental  quotas.

remember that only #1 from each continent qualify but only after the World Qualifiers in France. for example if Yahiro (AUS) qualifies directly that will give the Oceania quota to the next athlete Hoshi (NZL).

also remember that only 2 spots are available in each weight. which means only :AUS Yahiro and :EGY Abdelaziz are 100% guaranteed a place in Tokyo. :LAT Kalnins also looks 95% safe.
