heywoodu 13,555 Posted May 24, 2021 #136 Share Posted May 24, 2021 I've seen riders make mistakes, but damn, once Campenaerts and Oscar Riesebeek had gotten rid of the annoying Torres (who didn't do a single meter of work and who's teammate Dario Cataldo was being even more annoying by chasing him), Riesebeek quite literally did everything possible to make himself not win He attacked in exactly the wrong parts, so he didn't have the power to attack on the harder parts where Campenaerts was clearly struggling, he wasn't really doing any work in the lead at the end, but then still started the sprint way too early - he was actually stronger, but Campenaerts could easily pass him because of staying behind him for longer...let's say Riesebeek hasn't been in this situation often, that was awful If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
