He’s among the most outspoken athletes across all Olympic sports. He’s not afraid to say what is on everyone’s mind while still being polite about it. rafalgorka

Because he’s speaks for athletes. He’s not arrogant. He actually enjoys speaking with and engaging with his fans. He brutally honest about what it means to be an international athlete. He’s a champion of clean sport. He does have some down sides (he’s not the greatest race walker, he can be combative at times), but he’s one of the most genuine athletes you’ll meet. He’s one those athletes that acts like a normal person, and doesn’t pretend to be above everyone else. He models behavior that is good for young athletes to see. rafalgorka 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Vojthas 947 Posted May 5, 2020 #654 Share Posted May 5, 2020 He'd probably run for the Athlete's Commission elections in Tokyo if he could. Well, he needs to wait until Paris because of Hayley Wickenheiser. rafalgorka

I could see him as the President of World Athletics one day. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
