Chances are pretty good, IMO. And by the way, huge thanks to Czechia for playing really fair. In spite of :GER and :CZE being direct concurrents for one of the three remaining places, they actually sent a relay to Regensburg. If they hadn't, Germany's result wouldn't have counted for lack of a second federation.

I do not think that they wanted to play fair. I think that they did not consider this consequence :-) it would be more typical for Czech officers :-)

Wow, Richardson was lucky to not get DQ'ed from her 10.64 (wind-aided)....her cocky finish nearly made her step into the lane next to her before the finish

I hope (but doubt) she'll sort of humble down a little on the way to Tokyo :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Czechia sent a B-Team. I think their best runners are currently at the European Team Championships.

Well, yes, they are in Cluj this weekend. But most B-team ahtletes are as a reserve. This is B and C team combined. ...

Well, we were happy to help. Hope to be together in Tokyo in one month ?

I am pretty sure this was coaches decision. Nothing to do with officers. Look, Czech helped Germany to get mixed relay to the Olympics. But 4x100 Czech has not qualified yet. Germany has. Maybe German athletes maybe come over next weekend to help out during the very last opportunity. I guess this might been the idea of cooperation ?

Women's Triple Jump

:BUL Gabriela Petrova - 14.42

The full quota (32) in Women's Triple Jump has now been reached with these three new standards achieved.

which means that :ITA Darya Derkach, who jumped just 1cm short of the Olympic standard a couple of days ago, has to improve by that damn cm if she wants to fly to Tokyo (our media were already convinced that she could easily earn her quota place thanks to the world ranking with that measure)...

Richardson can seriously attack the WR if she keeps this up....if she can improve her start. Her start is so slow (relatively speaking, of course), yet she ends up with such fast times...I think there's at least a full tenth to be gained there, if not more.

She wasn't close to qualifying via ranking even before yesterday. She was always going to have to make the Olympic standard.
