Yeah, I was actually surprised by her training times yesterday! I've been clicking on refresh button a lot on IBSF results page, but no results yet. #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted January 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Here they are. 2nd after the first run, finished 3rd overall. Pretty darn impressive for someone who started sliding in August... Of 2017. Dragon 1 #banbestmen
heywoodu 13,504 Posted January 11, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Alright, I take my words back about how utterly ridiculous it is to give her a free quota At least she's competitive already If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! dcro 10,172 Posted January 12, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Some continental races are yet to come, but basically nothing can change. 3 quotas - 2 quotas - 1 quota - #banbestmen
heywoodu 13,504 Posted January 12, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 12, 2018 By the way, Bos would be 10th in the ranking if our NOC decides not to count the insanely unfair race in Winterberg. One would think that'd be a strange thing to do, but they did exactly the same in alpine skiing in the Sochi qualification: Marvin van Heek got an 8th place in the insanely unfair downhill in Val Gardena, exactly what a Dutch alpine skier needs to qualify, but the NOC decided not to count it because of the weather conditions. Basically, they scrapped a result which was made unfair by the weather when said weather turned out positive for an athlete, in my opinion they should do the same now that the same kind of thing turned out negative for an athlete. dcro 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
