JoshMartini007 2,204 Posted July 27, 2021 #51 Share Posted July 27, 2021 Surfing is definitely a type of sport to watch through highlights than watching it live. Monzanator

The Winter Games don't have any issues with limited number of athletes quotas because it's still a smaller event compared to the Summer Games. The inclusion of surfing (as the inclusion of any new sport) means that the number of athlete quotas get reduced in other sports. Clearly haven’t read through the Skateboarding thread… Also, the Winter Olympics absolutely have quota issues as well. 2026 is going to be rough for some sports. “Sport has the power to change the world. thiago_simoes 1,359 Posted July 27, 2021 #60 Share Posted July 27, 2021 Just now, vinipereira said: lol Do we even have to watch the final to know that the japanese will win gold? In all of the sports where athletes are awarded scores, Japan has been very generously scored. They lost the gold medal in artistic gymnastics today because their team is actually not that great, but judges still did everything they could to give some hope to Japan. It's way beyond the point where it can all be considered a coincidence or a boost thanks to home advantage by now. They are being blatantly and deliberately overscored everywhere.
