heywoodu 13,499 Posted January 12, 2018 #31 Share Posted January 12, 2018 That was not good at all for Bos...that might have cost her an Olympic ticket If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Didn't she already reach the requirements (2xtop 8)? She was also very good at the test event in PC. #banbestmen

She was also very good at the test event in PC. Top-12 in the standings is the requirement. She's 11th now, Yarnold, Uhlaender and Fernstädt will pass her with a 13th, 8th and 5th place respectively. One of them can pass her (two if our NOC decides not to count Nikitina). Frustrating is that she'd have passed the not present Priedulena with an 'easy' 18th place...but she'll finish 20th. heywoodu 13,499 Posted January 12, 2018 #34 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Yarnold easily within top-13, Fernstädt gets a minimum of 5th place. RIP Bos. heywoodu 13,499 Posted January 12, 2018 #36 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Starting with a win, follow it up with a 22nd place....later on get a 20th place and follow it up with a win. Who cares about consistency I'm pretty sure she isn't the biggest fan of the Olympics 4 runs format. #banbestmen
dcro 10,172 Posted January 19, 2018 #38 Share Posted January 19, 2018 Surprise, surprise, they only decided to cancel the race after Germans' poor runs. #banbestmen

Which is rather justified. When the World Cup leader makes a good run, without any mistake worth mentioning, yet finishes 1,67 seconds behind and the snow only gets stronger, it's the only right decision. My point is that they should have cancelled it before the start... Or at least much earlier. Japanese are not supposed to be 5 secs back, not to mention Pedersen's deficit. #banbestmen
