Trump doing U-turns is just a typical reflection of 2-party political system in US. I mean it's not a personal Trump stuff, it may apply to every GOP member. What else you may expect him to say like "Thanks my successor to fulfill my to-do list and take the blame I deserved"? Hell no. I won't vote for the incumbent (pro-China) and the opposition (pro-USA). Both don't really care about human rights and are corrupt. This effectively allows Australia to build its own Nuclear powered subs. Which has angered France as they lost a 60bn dollar deal to build diesel powered subs but Australia has canned it.
