Vojthas 947 Posted April 7, 2021 #41 Share Posted April 7, 2021 Batashova out - that's a surprise. Group C was so much easier than the other two, but with Maliszewska in the final, can't be sad from that.

But in the final we will fail as usual (0 for Khokhlova for riding in Budapest ...)
thepharoah 2,264 Posted April 8, 2021 #43 Share Posted April 8, 2021 I really feel sorry for Aleksander Varbanov from Bulgaria who finished fencing qualfication with 0 victories and 31 losses thiago_simoes
mrv86 2,852 Posted April 9, 2021 #44 Share Posted April 9, 2021 Again Mayan Oliver & Tamara Vega going head to head for the second quota for Mexico in women's. I wonder if Mariana Arceo doesn't better her shape by the World Championships, and the former two keep beating her, if the National Federation would reject Arceo's place and going for a second spot via world rankings. In men's, it's nice to see Duilio Carrillo is trying to add more points and keep in competition for one spot via world ranking. Hopefully either Padilla and Sandoval could have a nice finish here and try to repeat it next week, aiming for a reallocation from the Tripartite quotas. Werloc 3,125 Posted April 9, 2021 #46 Share Posted April 9, 2021 Laura and Ieva really need to step it up in the second part of the fencing, because it ain't looking good for the medal chances
Werloc 3,125 Posted April 9, 2021 #47 Share Posted April 9, 2021 You can bet that Asadauskaitė will attack that 54 second margin to first place Pretty solid attempt from Serapinaitė, shared third before the final event, but she's very weak in it, so holding onto a top 10 would be a miracle. There's always live results on the official UIPM website, there's a direct link in the very first message of this thread. Permykina is 21st after riding. Vektor 3,177 Posted April 9, 2021 #50 Share Posted April 9, 2021 Disappointing laser run from Gulyás, but it looks like she might be our best athlete in women's pentathlon now? One more similarly good result from her and I think she will get the second Hungarian quota.
