It's bizarre that a person who cannot contribute in any way to the team was chosen over someone who realistically could: Skinner. Anyway, I'm glad Skinner at least got the individual quota, but it will not be easy for her to get a medal. Unless, of course, she beats Jade Carey on vault. I can't say anything about this, since I have no idea about their chances or results or anything. But I would definitely prefer a shot in the dark for an individual medal over a chance of reaching a team final (where a medal would be far out of reach, I assume?). Yes, I agree, but unless something drastic occurs, there's no point for letting Vera van Pol go to the Olympics. I kind of understand Eythora and Lieke Wevers, and being extremely pragmatic there's a reason why Sanne Wevers was chosen -- even though her chances are minimal this time.
