This is the second high profile track cyclist to die by suicide recently (after Kelly Catlin's death in 2019). Talk a difficult couple of years for such a tight knit sport community.

Haydee Coloso Espino. Swimming. Philippines. Winner of ten medals at the Asian Games from 1954 to 1962, three of them gold. Competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics in the women’s 100 meters freestyle.

Jacques Rogge. President of the International Olympic Committee from 2001 to 2013. Competed for Belgium in Finn class sailing at three Olympics from 1968 to 1976.

RIP. By far the best president of IOC. He was in favor of less sports in Olympics
