This might be of the strongest sailing programs yet, a good mix of tradition and youth “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. But I can imagine that two different ships can't race togheter, so there goes the end of my idea. A Relay in sailing sounds awfull.
JoshMartini007 2,130 Posted May 15, 2018 #13 Share Posted May 15, 2018 The Finn replacement is a bit dumb. I doubt ISAF will find a combination where both boats would produce equal performances, it will likely cause one gender to dominate the other. A two boat team race where they add up the two performances would be interesting though.

heywoodu 13,499 Posted June 24, 2018 #20 Share Posted June 24, 2018 The Volvo Ocean Race is insanely exciting today, in the last day. Less than 100km away from the finish in Scheveningen (near The Hague) and there's a few hundred meters between Brunel and Mapfre (the two remaining contenders for the win, since Dongfeng chose a completely wrong course overnight). https://www.volvooceanrace.com/en/tracker.html If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
