It's not the girls' fault, but EHF took the correct decision. Their government forced them to withdraw for political reason. By the way, if you read EHF rules, this is the minimum (and automatic) sanction...they could have banned the Serbian U20 for 2 more competitions for this political withdrawl "If the withdrawal takes place after the draw of the qualification, the team may additionally be suspended from participation in EHF national team competitions of the corresponding age category and gender for up to two (2) competitions, including the respective qualification rounds."
