I don't think so), favouring even more than nowadays the tight defence and the opportunistic tactics (and boring assaults), changing also the physical type of athlete that would most likely become the "prototype" foilist (very tall and with very long arms people on paper would definitely be more effective in those kind of tactics)... most athletes, National Federations and former champions are all totally against this crazy idea, but FIE looks very determined to destroy the history of their own sport and the most traditional (and technically + tactically difficult to play at the highest level) weapon in their program... mrv86 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
