When he woke up, he couldn't walk, couldn't talk and only had a confused look in his eyes. Nowadays he can walk without any help if it's not too far and he can do some light work on an indoor bike, so he is definitely on the long, long road to recovery and a 'normal life'. Considering the circumstances, it's mostly good news. phelps 6,792 Posted November 5, 2018 #10 Share Posted November 5, 2018 (edited) UCI BMX Freestyle Park (and Flatland) World Cup: overall winners crowned in Chengdu The fourth and final round of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland World Cup saw the overall winners crowned in the Chinese city of Chengdu. The action came just days before the start of the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships which will be held in the same city, and where the BMX Freestyle Park specialists will battle for the rainbow jersey. BMX Freestyle Park Top performer in the semi-finals, American Dennis Enarson looked set to win the Chengdu World Cup round after an impressive first run in the finals. However, that was without counting on Australian Jake Wallwork who put in an unbeatable second run to take the victory. Declan Brooks (Great Britain) came third. The overall winner of the 2018 UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup is Croatia’s Marin Rantes, who finishes the season in front of Venezuelan Daniel Dhers. Nick Bruce completes the overall podium despite a crash in the qualifications in Chengdu preventing him from going any further in the Chinese round of the series. For the third consecutive year, Hannah Roberts is the overall winner of the women’s UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup. The American finished second in the Chengdu round which saw victory go to Germany’s Lara Lessman, 18, who recently won gold at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lessman finishes the World Cup season in second place overall. Switzerland’s Nikita Duccarroz was third in Chengdu and third in the overall World Cup ranking.
