  • Women's Natural Track

Would the Telemark events be added as part of alpine skiing or as a new discipline?

It sounds lika a new discipline to me, I hope is separate to be honest.

I would chose... none of them :p . The only one I'd personnaly like to see is the snowboard cross team event, but only if it was limited to only one - mixed - event.

I guess that alpine parralel slalom is a given at this point (and alpine combined on his way out also). Big air skiing is so redundant with both aerials and snowboarding big air. But the IOC really want to reach these millenials  I don't see any other events making the cut (except perhaps women NC)

Me too, at least more medals will be contested and there will be less void time. I heard about snow volleyball and polo on ice, that would be interesting to see :d

However, if this list is true, that will mean more biathlon

Something that recquires a new venue to be built (ie natural luge) is probably dead in the water.

I’d agree. Same as the sprint event, don’t really see how the schedule can fit hat many more events. In sliding I expect women’s doubles luge and the bobsleigh/skeleton team event to be added as they could be squeezed into the schedule when you consider the number of training runs needed for extra events.

It was inside the games and some individual national federation press releases. Most is pretty good quality but some of the alpine skiing and snowboarding events may not be proposed for 2022 they may be discussed for 2026

Why not a skeleton relay just like in luge ? And is women's doubles luge anything more than vaporware ?
