Lasitskene was the far & away best high jumper of the 2010s. She really deserved that gold medal. That Rio ban really must have angered her and here she is! It's not a shock. She was a hands down gold favorite in Rio and couldn't compete. One missed OG is enough. She didn't have the best season in 2021 but she won OG anyway.
