The Aussie media will not be happy at her being here in Tokyo.

Lasitskene was the far & away best high jumper of the 2010s. She really deserved that gold medal. That Rio ban really must have angered her and here she is!

Mahuchikh will return in Paris and I have no idea what happens to McDermott. She could be a one-hit wonder when it's all said and done.

Big shock - the BBC are applauding Lasitskene due to her criticising her own federation.

It's not a shock. She was a hands down gold favorite in Rio and couldn't compete. One missed OG is enough. She didn't have the best season in 2021 but she won OG anyway. I won't be surprised if she retires next year (unlike Chicherova who retired like three times).

This athletics tournament has been weird

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Guess how much non-Aussie media will care about the Aussie media? :cheer:
