heywoodu 13,555 Posted February 17, 2018 #341 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Stoch To be honest, this competition made up for the (thanks to the organization) farce of a normal hill competition, this was great all-around Pavlo 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! OlympicsFan 783 Posted February 17, 2018 #348 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Almost as horrible as the biathlon and the skeleton result, if Germany doesn't win the team event, the olympics were a complete fail for german ski jumping. At least we know that Stoch won't be there in 4 years, so hopefully Wellinger will take what he deserves. OlympicsFan 783 Posted February 17, 2018 #350 Share Posted February 17, 2018 I just saw the final round for the first time and there is absolutely NO WAY that Stoch deserved 19 or even 19.5 (of course by the polish judge) in the final round, 18 or 18.5 at best would have been the right decision. Norway will be very hard to beat in the team. Any other nation than Norway, Poland, Germany winning a medal would be a huge surprise.
