Thanks! :yes

I wasn't sure to put it there because the thread was named "Formula 1 FIA World Championship 2018" and this involved the 2019 season.

That thread should simply be named 'Formula 1' anyway :p

Edit: There we go

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Alonso really wants to make the triple crown, he is seriously going for that Indy 500.

Far from easy and it's more likely that he won't make it, but if anyone in the current time can...

That debut last year was just epic until, of course, his engine broke down.

A new all-female motorsport series will launch next year. The drivers will drive Tatuus F3-spec cars. The series has backing from former F1 race winner David Coulthard and a prize pot totalling of $1.5 million. The six-round series will launch in May 2019 and features 30-minute races throughout Europe, with one round to he held in the United Kingdom. In the future an expansion to Australia, Asia and the Americas is expected.

Not surprisingly, there is already mixed reactions to the idea. Some see it as a good step to improve their career. Others think it's a step backwards for equality between male and female drivers.

Some of the reactions:

GT driver Stephane Kox:

"W Series sounds like it's going to be a really positive addition to the global motorsport scene, and it'll clearly be a big help to ambitious female racing drivers everywhere. Having spoken to the W Series organisation, it's clear that they understand that we women drivers aspire to race. Speaking for myself, I want to be a racing driver at the highest level possible and to be able to race against the best drivers, men and women. In order to be able to do so, it's important that first we gain the kind of experience that W Series will provide."

IndyCar driver Pippa Mann:
