That doesn't make sense. If summer sports are considered "season-neutral", it's the same for winter ones (after all, they can all be played indoors). #banbestmen

But alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski jumping etc are basically never done indoors, with a rare exception here and there, making them as good as completely winter sports. Volleyball, handball, basketball, swimming etc are mostly done indoors in competition form. Obviously not winter sports, but definitely not completely summer sports neither (since a majority of competitions doesn't need any summer to exist whatsoever, whereas a huge majority of winter sports competitions is cancelled if there's no winter). But there is such thing as indoor alpine skiing. While for example there is no such thing as indoor trap shooting, or indoor sailing, or indoor canoeing, etc. Your definition uses double standards, as in theory winter sports also don't NEED winter to exist. It's not solely about moving sports indoors anyway. It's about recreating summer conditions for indoor summer sports, and recreating winter conditions for indoor winter sports. It's not like a volleyball match can be played if it's -10 degrees inside or something. Edited November 7, 2018 by dcro #banbestmen

The only different is that vehicles are making "broom-broom" noise
