Very surprising that verstappen finished 2nd after starting last.  Off course lucky with that rain in the end that McLaren screwed up on.

Hamilton and Verstappen were indeed lucky with the rain coming in, but did make brilliant use of it. Huge shame Norris made the wrong call though :(

Anyway, this was Hamilton's chance to deal a big blow to Verstappen in the title fight and he didn't. Not his fault obviously, he can't do more than win, but Verstappen was too good for Hamilton to make a big difference. Might have been a fairly crucial race in the overall picture, but there's a long way to go yet.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Hamilton will take a 10-place grid penalty in Turkey. Red Bull appears to be way off in practice so far.

Meanwhile Michael Andretti seems to be serious with the Sauber/Alfa Romeo buyout which would bring Colton Herta to F1.

Brazilian GP sprint starts in 30 minutes. Hamilton was put to the back of the grid after illegal rear wing (DRS flap opened too much). Verstappen was fined 50k euros for touching the Merc rear wing in parc ferme :p Hamilton will take a 5-place grid penalty for the Grand Prix tomorrow.
