Skijumpingmaster 54 Posted April 13, 2018 #136 Share Posted April 13, 2018 (edited) Vikersund , Trondheim and Lillehammer can loose their world cup status. The certificates for the hills have expired and if they don't renew their certificates there will be no Raw air next season. When it comes to Vikersund it's the outrun and some technic specifications that are the reason their certificate expires. With Lillehammer it's only formalities and with Trondheim the problem is apparently whether they'll build a new hill or not. So it looks like Vikersund is in most danger. Right now Holmenkollen is the only norwegian hill with a valid certificate. Norway has been given a deadline to May 16th to fix their certificates. If not , then no Raw air and only one world cup event in Norway next season. Besides this the world cup calendar is ready . It opens in Wizsla in mid- november. There will be a mixed team event in Titisee Neustadt . Czech republic is back at the calendar with Liberec. Sapporo is also back. Ski flying events will be Planica ,Oberstdorf and Vikersund ( if certificate is renewed). A Raw air for ladies is also planned. Also , swiss athlete Tobias Birchler has decided to end his career. Right now Simon Ammann is the only jumper on the swiss A- team. Edited April 13, 2018 by Skijumpingmaster

The difference between the top-1 and the rest wasn't big yet, so great that we'll see them jump on even bigger hills to finally have a bit of difference If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
