Surfing is added every year with the Surfing World Games. Sport Climbing will have World Championships in 2018.

Then that's fine and having a separate medal tables for every year in 2017-20 helps to know the progress of nations

2020 Tokyo by 2017 results - version made by late November 2017, with 2017 World Championships results, with some other results like e.g. Wimbledon Tournament or FIFA Confederation Cup when there were no WCh,

and in November I didn't know women's handball WCH results yet, or boxing and weightlifting categories either, so it's not a complete work yet, but don't have anything better

This should be it's own thread . I know we allready have a WC medals count thread, but this could be interesting as well. A virtual yearly medals table based on either world championship results or world rankings/best performances (if no world championsip that year)

And another bit off-topic, but I couldn't help myself,

2020 Tokyo by 2017 results - version made by late November 2017, with 2017 World Championships results, with some other results like e.g. Wimbledon Tournament or FIFA Confederation Cup when there were no WCh,

and in November I didn't know women's handball WCH results yet, or boxing and weightlifting categories either, so it's not a complete work yet, but don't have anything better

Any help in the results portal is always welcome, but the thread has been just updated as of today.

Does it include all the sports? Like karate, for example.

Does it obey the rules of qualification system? Like max. national quota in weightlifting, for example?

 Great work, anyway. Congratulations.
